Rating:6/10 Why is it when a Dark Castle movie comes out I'm usually skeptical? They usually don't look that good. But I am always suprised about out good they are, except for feardotcom. I was pleasantly suprised by this. This would've gotten a better ranking if Parisd Hilton wasn't in here. And no, I'm not a Paris Hilton hater. Well, yes I am, but if she would have done a good job in her role, I would have given her kudos for it. But she doesn't belong. She was way outclassed by everyone in this. But her death scene was pretty intense. This movie did have a decent amount of tension to it. Especially when Elisha Cuthbert was in the truck and Bo was trying to get in. there was some good interplay between the characters as well which shows you that the cast did get along and had good chemistry. The special effects were pretty decent as well and the death scenes were gruesome. I can't say well enough how cool the Paris Hilton death scene looked. The tension was built up with her quite well as the kiler was chasing her. The characters were pretty well written as well. You kind of find yourself rooting for them against the villians. The writers also managed to stay away from the major horror cliches which does make this a little different. It was nice that they took the time for the characters, crafted a tight script and it wasn't too bad. It is too bad that Paris Hilton was horrible in this.
