In 30's New York City, the Shadow battles his nemesis, Shiwan Khan, who is building an atomic bomb.
Rating:7/10 The Shadow will always be associated with that classic line from its radio show. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow. The atmosphere and the feel of this movie really suck you into the world of the Shadow. 1930's New York looks awesome and looks like a place I would love to visit. Not only were the sets visually stunning, but the special effects were excellent as well. When seeing the Shadow beat up on that gangster in the begining, you know you are in for a visual treat. The phurba(the knife with sharp teeth) was a creepy little thing as well. It also looked amazing and looked better than some of the CGI effects today. Most of the acting by the cast was pretty good and it was good to see Jonathan winters in something a little different. I was a little disappointed with Ian McKellen. He didn't sem to fit the role for the part he was playing. A fun movie with some decent amount of action that kept me interested until the very end.
