The Ghoul
1933 Starring Boris Karloff, Cedric Hardwicke, Ernest Thesiger, Dorothy Hyson Unrated 77 Minutes
An ancient Egyptian returns from the dead to take revenge on those who have violated his tomb.
Rating:3/10 Quite a boring movie that moves just way too slow. It just kept lumbering on and lumbering on and lumbering on. Most of the characters were annoying and so were the actors who overacted their parts. The woman that was supposed to be the comic relief was so annoying, I thought that I would rather hear nails on a chalkboard. The dialogue was horrible. It was like, first they say it, then they do it. Over and over. Boris Karloff was the only positive reason to watch this. He did have a very creepy look to him when he came back to life. The story was silly and the movie was quite a mess. The only reason to watch this is because of Boris Karloff and then there are much better Karloff movies than this.
