The Mummy's Hand is more comparable to the remake of The Mummy starring Brendan Frasier. This was a fast paced action packed movie that was just over an hour long. There was some decent comedic elements that didn't distract from the movie as it happens in some movies. I thought that the acting was also pretty good all the way around. Even though Boris Karloff brought a creepy vibe to the creature, Tom Tyler brought his own style to the creature that I thought was amazing. He had the creepy shuffle down. Whenever there were close ups of huis face, they were just black holes. This is the mummy that everyone will recognize, before they recognize Karloff's mummy. Even the story was pretty good. The one thing I did not like and never liked was the stock footage that was used from the original Mummy into this one and it is easy recognizable. I really hate when people do that to movies, especially as good as this one was. This is a very fun movie and I think alot of people would enjoy this if just given the chance. I know classic movie buffs would enjoy this just as much as I did.
