A young woman helping care for an invalid in New Orleans finds herself caught in the middle of morbid going-ons centered around a group of Hoodoo (Not Voodoo, it's different. Hoodoo is an old African American magic that only works if you believe in it.) practitioners.
Rating:7/10 I was really suprised by this movie. I wasn't expecting much watching this, but my sister told me how good this was. This isn't a terrifying movie, but it is kind of creepy. The real problem with this movie, is that it didn't have a good flow to it. It started off slow, picked up the pace, slowed down again, and then towards the end it picked up steam furiously. The four actors who were in the film the most worked well together as well as they should because they are all quality actors and actresses. The ending was very good as well, as it suprised me very much. I didn't expect it to end that way. This isn't too bad of a movie, and I went in with low expectations, which probably helped.
