The worms are back but this time in a prequel, set in 1889 Nevada as silver mines inspector Hiram Gummer, the great-grandfather of Burt Gummer, arrives in the small settlement of Rejection Valley and faces off against the so-called graboid worm monsters devouring the local inhabitants.
Rating:6/10 This movie really makes up for how horrible Tremors 3 was. I was expecting much out of this, but this was a much better story. Not as much action and not as much humor, even though there was some, this was well written. The characters were as memorable as the characters in the original. As for originality, this was right up there. We got to see the history of the graboids and the history of the town Perfection. Even though this wasn't as fun as the first two movies, it was still entertaining. Micheal Gross comes back to this series as Hiram Gummer, the ancestor of Burt Gummer. And what a great character he was. Micheal Gross did a great job with him. Billy Drago also did a great job in the short time he was alloted. The rest of the cast was alright, nothing special and nothing so much that it stood out. The special effects, thank God, were much beter than the last and didn't rely on the horrible CGI that was used in the last film. This was a worthy entry in the Tremors series.
