Dr. Frankenstein and his monster both turn out to be alive, not killed as previously believed. Dr. Frankenstein wants to get out of the evil experiment business, but when a mad scientist, Dr. Pretorius, kidnaps his wife, Dr. Frankenstein agrees to help him create a new creature, a woman, to be the companion of the monster.
Rating:8/10 To me, Bride of Frankenstein is just as good as the original Frankenstein. Even though I didn't like the little people that Dr. Pretorius created, just kind of stupid actually, this was still a good movie. This seemed to be a bit more violent, and just as touching in some scenes. What a great job done by the cast of this movie. The setting and atmosphere were just as good as the first one as well. I really enjoyed the way the film opened up with Mary Shelley telling some more of her story, knowing that this movie is just a continuation of Frankenstein. the thing that makes this movie pretty decent is the black humor involved. The final sequence really closes this movie off well as it was very enjoyable.
