When I watched the trailer for the movie Black Christmas, I was kind of excited.  I love my horror movies.  I mean, I wasn't too excited about the fact that this was another remake, but the trailer looked pretty cool.  The movie trailer lied.  Half of what was in the trailer was not in the movie.  How disappointing is that.  The trailer looked very spooky.  This movie was very funny.  The acting was so bad, me and my cuz was just laughing hard.  When it seemed as if the actresses had to actually convey emotion into their lines, they sounded like phony stuck up people.  I was actually cheering for the killer in this movie.  At least he was somewhat decent.  The dialogue was horrible in this.  And watching Michelle Trachtenberg swearing, it seemed as if her clothes were on too tight.  She did not look comfortable at all.  This film gets very confusing with the flashback scenes and the backstory.  If they had put the back story right away in the begining, this wouldn't have seemed so confusing.  Plenty of gore for the people who love gore in their horror movies.  The kills weren't that cool looking though.  These people are the ones who did the Final Destination movies.  You would think that the kills would be a lot more entertaining to watch.  Some of the kills were uncomfortable though.  And what made me just shake my head was when Billy was eating his "Christmas cookies".   This movie had no tension building up because of the horrible flashback sequences and horrid acting.  When you got the first climax, I thought, Thank God, it's over.  But I was wrong.  There was a final fight between Katie Cassidy and Billy Lenz.  Everything was so predictable as well.  You know when the person was going to be slashed and how they were going to be slashed.  Major disappointment.  This is not worth taking the time out to see.
