Rating:6/10 Voodoo moon was actually a pretty interesting story. It is too bad there doesn't seem to be much going on. It actually gets a little boring at times. It seemed like there was some pointless dialogue as well to kind of drag this down a little further. As far as this being a horror movie, there wasn't any real jump kind of scenes if you follow what I'm saying. Usually a horror movie will try to have you jump out of your seat, but this lacks it. This film had a lot of potential, but it is the aformentioned things that can stop a movie dead in its tracks. But there were some positives. Charisma Carpenter was great in this. She needs more roles now! She is a very talented actress and looked like she was having fun with the role she was given. John Amos is still a guy I wouldn't want to mess with and he is in his mid sixties. He was excellent as a biker who came to help fight the demon. And Jeffrey Combs. What is a horror movie without him. He added a bit of humor and heart top thiis movie. It's not a bad watch if you can get paste some of the more boring scenes and bad dialogue.
