Rating:3/10 I was so sorely disappointed with Kairo(Pulse). I thought that this would have been much better than it's American counterpart. Ugh! This movie was just too long and it kept dragging on and on and on. The movie was so slowly paced that it had a hard time keeping my attention and I almost fell asleep a couple of times. The other thing that was really annoying about this movie was that the characters were written with no common sense or intelligence. When it seemed like people should be sticking together while they were in immenent danger, they would then go crazy and split up. That is the kind of movie you just start yelling at the screen saying, stick together moron! But alas, it didn't happen that way. I can understand the loneliness aspect of this film as that was well written into the script and the one thing that Japanese horror movies do have is that they are very rich in their atmosphere as creepy and foreboding. It is just too bad that is all that these kinds of movies are is just atmosphere, because it gets old quick and it turns out to be the same thing everytime.
